The RRB JE Notification 2025 announces 2569 vacancies for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria regarding nationality, age, and educational qualifications before applying.

Nationality

Candidates must be:

• A citizen of India, or

• A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or

• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, intending to settle permanently.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

As per the official CEN No. 05/2025:

• Junior Engineer (JE): Diploma/Degree in Engineering relevant to the post applied.

• Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): Diploma/Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.

• Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): B.Sc. in Physics and Chemistry.

Candidates waiting for final results are not eligible to apply.

⏳ Age Limit (as of 01 January 2026)

Additional relaxations are available for Ex-Servicemen, Railway staff, PwBD, and widowed/divorced women as per government norms.

⚙️ Selection Process

The RRB JE selection will be conducted in the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

2. Document Verification (DV)

3. Medical Examination (ME)

Negative marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The CBT will test candidates on:

• General Awareness

• General Science

• Mathematics

• Basics of Computer Applications

• Technical subjects

🩺 Medical Standards

All candidates must meet the A-3, B-1, or C-1 medical standards depending on the post.
Candidates with Lasik surgery are not eligible for A-3 category posts.
