The GSSSB CCE Syllabus 2026 has been released along with the GSSSB CCE Recruitment 2026 notification. A total of 5,370 vacancies are announced under Advertisement No. GSSSB/202526/378. Online applications will be accepted from 5 February to 20 February 2026. The syllabus covers the Combined Competitive Examination pattern for Group A and Group B posts. More detailed information is available in the attached notification file.

ToggleThe CCE is conducted by the Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) for Group-A and Group-B Class-III Government posts. The examination is held in two stages:
Preliminary Exam
Main Exam (Group-A and Group-B)
These stages assess general aptitude, language skills, reasoning, awareness, and subject knowledge relevant to government services.
1. Preliminary Examination (Common for Group A & B)
The preliminary exam will be common for both Group A and Group B candidates.
Total Marks: 150 Marks
Nature of Exam: Objective (MCQ-based)
Purpose: Screening / Shortlisting only
Marks obtained in prelims will not be counted in the final merit.
2. Main Examination – Group A
Candidates shortlisted for Group A will appear for the written mains examination.
Total Marks: 350 Marks
Exam Type: Descriptive / Written Examination
The final merit list for Group A will be prepared based on mains marks only.
3. Main Examination – Group B
Candidates shortlisted for Group B will appear for the MCQ-based mains examination.
Total Marks: 200 Marks
Exam Type: Objective (MCQ-based)
The final merit list for Group B will be prepared based on mains marks only.
4. Final Selection
The final result and merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of the mains examination.
Preliminary exam marks will not be considered in the final selection.
